Investor Engagement and Climate Action 100
Active ownership is a key tool for investors to address ESG issues in their portfolios, with climate change presenting one of the biggest risks but also opportunities. Climate Action 100+ is an investor initiative to engage 161 climate systemically important companies, accounting for two-thirds of annual global industrial emissions, to ensure that they take the necessary action on climate change and take advantage of the opportunity to drive the clean energy transition. Since its launch in December 2017, over 400 global investors representing more than $36trn AUM are participating. This event will provide an overview of the initiative, present progress to date and highlight investor/company best practice.
